They also offer a greater variety of drinks and capsules than VertuoLine. If you prefer larger drinks, you'll need to choose the VertuoLine line instead.
The VertuoLine is a brand new line that uses more advanced techniques and specifications. It delivers better performance than the OriginalLine. They offer a wider assortment of brew sizes that include 0.85 ounces of ristretto 1.35 ounces of double espresso, 5.8 ounces of lungo and 14 ounces Alto XL. They also offer a faster process called centrifusion that rotates the pod at 7,000 RPM, allowing more water to flow through to ensure better extraction.
Alongside improving the technology, VertuoLine has also increased the number of reusable capsules they sell and introduced a more sustainable packaging system. They now use an 80% recycled aluminum in their coffee machine cheap capsules and are committed to increasing the proportion of recycled and low-carbon aluminum that is virgin in the future products.
The Lattissima Pro coffee machine is one of the most efficient nespresso machines available. It comes with a fast heat-up time and an LCD display that can be customized settings. It also comes with an impressive steaming wand for creating cafe-worthy foam and milk texture. It may not be as compact as other nespresso machines but it is easy to clean and comes with a removable capsule container.
2. Vertuoline
The Vertuoline is a newer addition to the Nespresso line-up. It features a sleek, minimalist design and is the only machine in the lineup to make both espresso and coffee. It also has a built-in mixer for milk. This is an excellent choice for those who drink various black drinks but don't want to deal with the hassle of making them separately.
Vertuoline machines use a different pod system than the OriginalLine line. The pods feature unique barcodes on their outside rim that machines read to determine what size of drink they're making (ristretto or lungo, or cappuccino) and then automatically add the appropriate amount of water. This eliminates the need for a separate container of milk, making it easier to create the perfect espresso or coffee.
In terms of quality In terms of quality, the Vertuoline machines produce an espresso that's closer to the thick foam you'll find in a traditional coffee shop rather than the light Crema that is found in the OriginalLine machines. The OriginalLine machines have the best taste however, since they generate 19 bars of pressure to get the best flavor from the ground espresso.
The latest VertuoLine machines also employ a process known as Centrifusion to spin the capsules faster and more evenly than the Original Line machines. This improves the speed at which the water gets infused and improves the overall quality of the drink. The Vertuoline machines also employ a lower temperature in order to reduce extraction time and increase the strength of the coffee.
3. Original
This entry-level Original machine makes an excellent choice for those with limited space or budget. It has smaller tanks and capsule container but still manages 19 bars of pressure. This is enough to make the espressos and coffees most people purchase Nespresso for.
It is minimalist with a black design, and the top-facing button controls every function, from turning on to rinsing and brewing. This is a common approach for Nespresso machines. It makes them simple to operate and also to learn.
This model also comes with a jug to make drinks with foam. It also has 11 different milk temperature settings to customize the texture of your coffee or latte and it is able to make both long and short cappuccinos as well as lattes.

Sage, Heston Blumenthal’s company manufactures the machine, while Breville created the thermocoil heating system.
The most exciting aspect of the brand new Creatista is its automated steam and frothering system. Set your milk pitcher in front of the temperature sensor, which is located beneath the wand, and the machine will handle the rest. It comes with 11 settings, allowing you to customize the texture of your milk. If you prefer a more traditional method you can also opt to manually froth the milk.
Another great feature of the Creatista is its rapid heat-up time - it's up to temperature in just 3 seconds, which is quicker than other Nespresso machines. The design of the machine is sleek and elegant and has a brushed body made from stainless steel that looks stunning on any counter. The high-resolution screen makes it simple to navigate the machine for setting up, cooking food and even maintaining it. The machine is available in four colors including black truffle (pictured) sea salt (pictured), damson blue (pictured), and stainless steel. The Creatista is also compact and measures 6.7 inches by 15.4 x 12 in (WxDxH). It's the smallest Nespresso machine in the OriginalLine, which means it should fit easily on any counter.
5. CitiZ
This espresso maker that is slim from Nespresso occupies less counter space than other models. It comes with a foldable tray that can accommodate larger glasses and mugs to prepare recipes. This is a great feature for small kitchens and makes it easy to work with larger recipes. The 19 bar extraction system makes it simple to make cafe-style dishes and the speedy heating process is a further benefit.
The CitiZ Basic doesn't come with the milk frother. You can buy one on its own or as part of the CitiZ&Milk Bundle. This option also includes the Aeroccino milk-steamer, so you can make creamy cappuccinos and lattes. You can also use reusable capsules with this model, however they're not included.

Gran Lattissima's energy-saving feature and quick heat-up are two other excellent features. It has a large 44 oz reservoir of water, and takes just 25 seconds to heat up. It's also simple to remove the drip tray and froth jug for cleaning. It's also easy to keep the machine in top condition by regular descaling and automated cleaning cycles.
